Bristol City striker Jon Stead looks set to get back into the action at Portman Road this weekend where he should feature against his old club.

The 29 year old was with Ipswich for two years and scored 20 goals for the club, he got back into action as a substitute last weekend in the defeat at home to Derby and is looking to start this time around, going in the side at the expense of Ryan Taylor.

Taylor is suffering from a thigh injury and he will miss out along with Danny Wilson who is suffering with a hamstring injury.

Greg Cunningham may start after returning from an ankle injury last week and after six weeks out with a fractured cheekbone, Cole Skuse moves nearer to a return.

Other good news for Derek McInnes is that defensive duo Lewin Nyatanga and Louis Carey are both back and will be hoping to play some part in this must win fixture.
